More Wonder Woman News

Joel Silver, in his continuing effort to piss me off, has put the Wonder Woman movie on hold indefinitely. His reasoning is that Wonder Woman should make her big screen debut in a Justice League movie. I believe that losing Joss Whedon from the project made it suck ass and he can't admit that he was wrong. I want my Wonder Woman. I want her to have her own damn movie. Listen, the Supergirl movie was awful. Helen Slater was completely unbelievable as Clark Kent's cousin. The Elektra movie didn't even make sense, hello, Elektra died in Daredevil, and I do not believe some Mr. Miyagi hand-warming technique is going to change that. We need a real superhero, we need Wonder Woman.


I also need to say that I helped out with Girl's preschool Halloween party, which, by the way, reaffirmed my belief that I did not miss my calling by choosing not to go in early childhood education. But Girl's boyfriend came as Batman, which was so freaking perfect! It was like the following video (sorry about the Celine Dion).

You Know Me...

You know I love Wonder Woman; you know I love Joss Whedon. So you know that I am just plain heartbroken that he is no longer directing the movie. It would have been fan-freaking-tastic.

Damn...

Look, I know I missed out for Christmas folks, but I need me some of this fly-away action.

Weirdest Thing...

One of the blogs I read regularly wants to know the weirdest thing I own. I am not sure that in acuality it is the weirdest thing I own, but when people hear about it, they think I am weird. So I thought I would share though I don't really want a poodle painting.

See once upon a time I was 20 and had a baby boy....

and when that baby boy was about 18 months old, and I was a single mom with no other children even twinkling in my eyes....

and everyone I knew only had boys or no children at all....

I went thrift store shopping with my sister (woo hoo La Sirena!!!)...

and there it was for $1....

THE MOST AWESOME THING EVER......

A WONDER (effing) WOMAN BATHING SUIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and I bought it, because one day I knew that either me or my sisters would have a little girl and that little girl would NEED a wonder woman bathing suit and the chances of finding another were slim to none...........

and I saved it, for 6.5 years......

and finally had my little girl....


and that little girl had her Wonder Woman bathing suit, BUT...

I couldn't get rid of it...

BECAUSE someday my little girl might have a little girl, and that little girl will also NEED to have a Wonder Woman bathing suit!!! But until then.....
