The Things Daddy Doesn't Do

Girl and I were watching Spiderman (Girl's newest favorite movie). During the big scene where Spiderman is chasing the guy that killed his uncle, Girl kept telling me random things like:

"Daddy doesn't shoot up his car!"
"Daddy doesn't shoot up our house!"

No that's right, as crazy as it sounds Mr. Hobbitfeet doesn't shoot up anything, ever. There are only water guns in our house.

Also, I let my 3-year-old watch the Spiderman movies. In fact, I bought them just for her. There is violence, and upside-down kissing. She loves it. She's a super-hero junkie. She'd watch anything if you told her there was a super-hero in it. As long as she gets to see said super-hero save someone. She won't believe you until that happens and then she'll say "OH! He IS a super-hero!!!!"

She has a very strong sense of the necessity of taking care of each other.

Swampwitch-at least I'm not the only one.
Jen-Um, yep.
Robin-She probably would, but she's been angling for the Itsy-Bitsy Spiderman that dances and sings to the Spiderman song, and the Itsy-Bitsy Spider, so I think she wants that more.
