Preschool Woes

Last March I took Girl to be tested for Preschool. She blew them away with her intelligence and was put on the waiting list (waiting to see if they got their grant). Here it is July, and I still don't know what is going on. Now Girl's daycare wants me to let them know what our daycare plans are by July 23. I DON'T KNOW!!! So after calling the number I was given and getting a message that just said the name of the organization and the name of the people, I am no more enlightened then I was before.
This is why small towns stink. When we lived in Chicago, Boy went to a Catholic preschool, and though I paid through the nose, at least I knew when he would start school.
