Update

I did go home early yesterday. I let all the people at work freak me out until I was afraid that I would be stuck in a snowbank. As anticipated, the snow stopped shortly after I arrived home. I am slightly grateful that I left early, however, because after I left my home county this morning most of my road hadn't been plowed. The snow was worn down where others had driven, but it was not plowed. I am glad I didn't have to navigate that in the dark when the tracks wouldn't have been so worn.
Also, despite Mr. Hobbitfeet's fears and warnings, didn't have the trouble getting up the hill that I did last year. I credit my new tires. Thanks, Pelmo.
