Ms. Kitty, I've never seen Sounder. But I'll make sure she sees My Girl. It's the only movie I know of that made even my Dad cry! I'll have her in a bawling heap on the bathroom in no time! La Sirena, What? Us, dramatic? That's crazy talk!
Woodlandmama is a wife and mother who took her family away from Chicago and moved to a small town in central Illinois. It was a move that helped her family but killed her career and any social life she may have had outside of her family. Now she spends a lot of time playing with her kids, walking in the woods, and dreaming of a life that involves moving back to Chicago, but still having everything she loves about living in her small town.

Poor Rory! Stop subjecting her to movies where there is any separation of family, please. DO NOT show her "The Little Princess" for a few years.
She loves them, what can I do? Tonight, we're watching Old Yeller!
Just kidding! Sheesh!
Oh, thank goddess.
I'm glad she hasn't inherited any of the family propensity for dramatics. :P}
I can't wait to hear about the double feature of "Bambi" and "Sounder"! Good times!
